Cards

I have been really busy with two baby albums which I have just finished so will upload pictures once I have taken photos. But in the meantime I have made quite a few birthday cards recently.

These two I made using the new Couture Creations 3 in 1 sets - which are made up of an embossing folder, stamp set and matching dies. This set is called "Ornate Frame". The embossing folder is the frame that you emboss as is the stamp set. The butterfiles are also stamps and the dies.

This card is also made from the Couture Creattions 3 in 1 sets but its a different set and I cannot remember this ones name but I think is is Lacey Frame or something like that.

This beach themed card is one of the sets I bought from SVG Cuts and comes with three other cards.

This is a triple easle card and the tutorial on how to make these is on Splitcoaststampers.

I have discovered this technique on the internet as well and it is called "Punch art" The car is made up of punches and dies and it is heaps of fun to make. I have used the tri-shutter card base to make up this card and it was for my nephew who has just turned 10!!Because there is no space to right on I have made an additional pocket on the back of the card and wrote on a tag which is inserted into the pocket

I have not given any description of materials that I have used - should anybody be interested then leave a comment and will come back to you

Hope I have inspired somebody to make a homemade card for a friend or a loved one. Handmade art is never perfect and that is what is so special about making and receiving a handmade item.
